Following completion of construction, Pipe Tek was engaged directly by Unitywater to complete pigging – more commonly known as swabbing in the water sector – as well as hydrotesting and bacterial testing prior to commissioning

Such damage creates latent integrity risks that could lead to leaks or catastrophic failure and microscopic evidence of damage from improper squeeze-off can be seen below on Figure 2
