What happened
SolarDuck presented an Offshore Floating Power Hub combining floating solar, battery storage and auxiliary generation to provide power, communications and selective utilities to remote subsea assets. OTC and pilot data indicate the system can be competitive with long subsea umbilicals for certain tieback distances and continuous loads up to about 20 kW.
