Fugro secures survey work for Greater Sunrise and Bayu Undan pipeline developments
What happened
Fugro won a geophysical, seismic and AUV survey contract to characterise seabed conditions for Greater Sunrise and Bayu Undan pipeline developments in the Timor Sea. Mobilization/planning starts during the current quarter with offshore survey operations scheduled to begin during the fourth quarter, and some work will be in deepwater exceeding 3,000 m. This is operationally real because the survey is a gating activity for pipeline routing and engineering design; watch delivery schedules and data formats that feed FEED and tender scopes
Why the category manager should care
Treat this as a real early engineering demand: survey deliverables will drive FEED and can change SURF scope quickly
